I recorded this album between January 23 and 26 at home with an archtop guitar, an e-bow, a laptop, a Casio VL-1, and five effects pedals that the cats liked walking on. All tracks are entirely improvised. Some have multiple layers but all are first-take and editing is minimal.

I tried to make this sound as spacious and meditative as possible, but as usual with this sort of thing I've discovered instead that it's filled with metaphysical dread and other trivial annoyances. Nevertheless, if you choose not to engage too deeply, you may find it pleasant background music. I sincerely hope that listening to this does something small and irrevocable to your brain, and I apologize in advance if this wish comes true.
