about

I've always loved tracing the patterns of growth in trees. The lines in bark, the veins in leaves, the living grain of the flesh of the tree, the intricate tracery of limbs as they shade out, capillary-like, to the tiniest twig. It's all the most beautiful things of this world, there in one place for us to understand. My primary goal as a musician is to learn to mimic that secret curvy logic of leaf and twig, so that I can present a song a tenth as lovely.
